Police in Thailand are searching for a British kickboxer they suspect of killing a former US Marine in a barroom brawl in Phuket over the weekend.

Lee Aldhouse, 28, is the prime suspect in the stabbing of Dashawn Longfellow, 23, who was on holiday on the island. US media report that Mr Longfellow was awarded a Purple Heart after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Thai authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Mr Aldhouse and think he is still in the Phuket area but have alerted airports and sea ports in case he attempts to flee.
