A team led by the disgraced stem cell scientist, Hwang Woo-suk, claims to have cloned coyotes for the first time. The Sooam Biotech Research Foundation said the eight coyotes were born in June.

Dr Hwang created the world's first cloned dog in 2005, but his supposed breakthrough in human stem cell cloning was found to have been faked. AP
