A moderate earthquake in south-west China has caused hundreds of homes to collapse and injured more than 20 people.
The earthquake bureau in Yunnan province, where today's quake occurred, says three of the injuries were serious.
The official Xinhua News Agency says the quake damaged 2,500 houses and that 700 others collapsed.
The US Geological Survey says the magnitude-5.5 quake struck 32 miles from Dali city at a depth of 20 miles.
