People across Mumbai, India have paused to pay tribute to the men and women killed in a terrorist attack on the city back in 2008.

More than 160 people, including 26 foreign nationals, died in the three-day attack in Mumbai on 26 November 2008 led by 10 gunmen, nine of whom were killed by security forces. The only terrorist captured alive, Ajmal Kasab, was hanged in a jail in Pune, India.

Wreaths of flowers have been left at memorials in the Indian city on the 5th anniversary of the attack while friends, relatives and colleagues remember the victims.
