Ramjit Raghav posed for a picture outside his house this week with his two-month-old son, Vikramjeet.

Mr Raghav, a villager in Haryana state, north-west India became the world's oldest new dad by fathering his first child at 94, with his age confirmed by his pension records.

A farm labourer on a daily wage, he plans to try for another child next year. His live-in partner, Shakuntala Devi, 51, gave birth to the boy in a local hospital.
