A Delta flight which landed at Mumbai airport yesterday evening was searched for suspicious cargo after a warning from airline staff.
The plane from Amsterdam landed at Mumbai's international airport at about 11pm flanked by fire trucks and other emergency vehicles. It was taken to an isolated bay, where it was inspected by bomb squads and airport security, said airport spokesman Manish Kalghatgi.
"Security agencies have cleared the onboard cargo," Mr Kalghatgi said. "They haven't found anything objectionable."
