Indonesian politician Arifinto quits over porn row
A Conservative politician who helped to pass an anti-pornography law resigned yesterday after he was caught watching explicit videos on his computer during a parliamentary session.
A journalist filmed Arifinto, a member of the Prosperous Justice Party who goes by one name only, watching pornography for several minutes as fellow MPs debated plans to build a new parliament building.
Critics have attacked the MP, calling him a hypocrite and saying he should be prosecuted under the pornography law he helped pass.
