Lovers' tiff leaves couple dangling from balcony in China

In a story that played out more like Cliffhanger than Romeo and Juliet, a couple in China were discovered dangling from the side of a balcony after an argument.

The pair found themselves on the wrong side of the balcony when the woman fell during a quarrel with her boyfriend who was on the balcony below. Her partner grabbed her but was also sent off the edge, leaving both of them hanging on.

Luckily they were quickly rescued by neighbours and members of the emergency services.
