Malaysia: Ceremony fit for a new king
Malaysia crowned its fourteenth King yesterday in an elaborate ceremony at the new National Palace in Kuala Lumpur.
Echoing the pageantry of Malay sultanates from centuries past, King Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah lifted a ceremonial dagger and pledged to protect Islam and peace in the nation.
