Protesting students call for the punctual implementation of a new constitution at a rally in Kathmandu yesterday.

It came after politicians said on Tuesday that they would ignore a Supreme Court deadline giving them until Sunday to draw up a new constitution for the Himalayan republic. They claim they need more time to agree the boundaries and names of new states.
