North Korean army threatens to shell Seoul media
The military says it has aimed artillery at the specific co-ordinates of South Korean media groups, as Pyongyang threatened a "merciless sacred war" over perceived insults.
The North Korean statement is the latest in a series of threats. But yesterday's comments from the General Staff of the Korean People's Army contained an unusually specific mention of the longitude and latitude of the locations of seven media outlets.
Among them was Channel A, which has described recent children's festivals in Pyongyang as a Hitler-style political show.
Seoul called Pyongyang's threats a "grave provocation".
