Orange crush: monks take over Bangkok

Thai Buddhist monks gather to receive food at an alms-giving ceremony at the Ratchaprasong crossroads in central Bangkok yesterday. About 22,600 monks held the ceremony to mark the 2,600th anniversary of the enlightenment of Lord Buddha.
