Pakistan blocks 'sacrilegious' YouTube
The Pakistani government blocked access to YouTube yesterday because of "sacrilegious" content, in a growing crackdown against websites deemed offensive to Muslims.
The move against the video-sharing website came a day after the government blocked access to Facebook because of outrage over a page on the social networking site that encourages users to post images of the Prophet Mohamed.
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority did not specify what the "blasphemous" content on YouTube was.
