Philippine victim took picture of killer

Police investigating the New Year's Eve shooting of a town councillor did not have to look further than the last photograph the victim took.

The picture, taken outside the councillor's house in Manila, clearly shows a man aiming his gun from behind the victim's smiling family, seconds before he was shot. Police said that Reynaldo Dagsa was shot and fatally wounded seconds after the photo was taken. The man identified as the gunman in the picture was arrested on Monday, police said.
