A farmer has been arrested after about $10m (£6.1m) in cash was found hidden in a garlic field.
Police claim the money came from his relatives' illegal internet gambling site. It was uncovered in a field in Gimje, about 160 miles south of Seoul. The farmer, named only as Mr Lee, was arrested on Monday. Police said yesterday that his two brothers-in-law had asked him to stash the illegal bounty.
One of the brothers-in-law is now in prison, while the other is on the run. Officers did not say whether the discovered money would add to their charges.
