Two US service members missing in Afghanistan

Two US service members are missing in eastern Afghanistan, officials said today.

The two service members left their compound in Kabul on Friday but did not return, a Nato official said. A search is under way for them.

The Nato statement did not identify the pair by nationality but US officials said they are Americans.
