Woman 'arranges son’s murder' after he sexually abused her and other female relatives
Killing of 22-year-old in India organised for sum of 50,000 rupees, police say

A woman has been arrested for organising the murder of her son after he sexually assaulted her and other female family members in the Mumbai suburb of Bhayander, India.
The victim, 22-year-old Ramcharan Dwivedi, had assaulted several female relatives including his mother, a 55-year-old identified as Rajni, according to police.
The mother is alleged to have arranged for her son from a previous marriage, Sitaram, to kill his step-brother for the sum of 50,000 rupees (£570), according to local reports.
The body of a man later identified as Mr Dwivedi was discovered with stab wounds in a quarry on 21 August.
Investigators visited the victim’s house and discovered his mother had visited the police station earlier, but had failed to identify her son’s body.
She told the police her son had left home on the evening of 19 August and had not been in contact with the family since, adding she had not reported him missing as he often left the family home for days.
The woman eventually admitted she had hired her eldest son to kill Mr Dwivedi, police said.
She told investigators her son had frequently sexually assaulted her and other family members, and threatened her against telling his father.
The son and two other alleged accomplices, 23-year-old Rakesh Yadav and Keshav Mistry, 21, have also been arrested.
