PARIS - The Gallic warrior Asterix is to hang up his winged hat after years of battling Romans and other invaders of his corner of ancient France. The cartoon hero, his sidekick Obelix and hound Idefix will not embark on any new adventures. Albert Uderzo, the artist, 67, said he had 'lived solely in front of a drawing-board.
