`Auschwitz' supermarket plan dropped

Warsaw - Janusz Marszalek, the investor behind a controversial plan to build a supermarket near the former Auschwitz death camp, has decided to drop the project. The head of the company developing the site in southern Poland said work there had been halted and would not be resumed. Reuter
