Australia: 'Spy leaked UK and US secrets'

Top-level British, American and Australian intelligence secrets may have been leaked to Russia by a Canadian naval officer arrested this year, according to a report published yesterday.

A cache of highly classified information is believed to have been leaked by naval intelligence officer Jeffrey Delisle.

According to the report in The Sydney Morning Herald, Mr Delisle is accused of communicating classified information to an unnamed foreign entity between July 2007 and January 2012, and faces possible life imprisonment.
