Two military cadets were arrested yesterday over a scandal in which a woman accused a fellow cadet of secretly filming her having sex and showing it to his comrades.

The claims prompted the Australian government to order an inquiry into the treatment of women in the military.

Daniel McDonald, 19, and Dylan de Blaquiere, 18, appeared before magistrates in Canberra accused of using a communication service to cause offence. Mr McDonald is also charged with indecency. They have not entered pleas.
