A four-year-old refugee from Sudan has been killed at her Melbourne home by a neighbour's dog.
The pitbull cross-breed attacked Ayen Chol on Wednesday. A five-year-old girl and 30-year-old woman were also injured. Ayen died at the scene.
Her cousin said the dog chased the injured woman into the house, then attacked the five-year-old. As Ayen's mother intervened, it turned on Ayen.
Police said the dog would be destroyed and its owner could face charges.
