VYA, NEVADA (AP) - A woman and her baby were found alive yesterday, a week after they vanished in a blizzard and hours after the woman's husband was found wandering on a remote, snowy road.

Authorities confirmed that Jennifer Stolpa, 20, and her 4- month-old son were found in a makeshift snow cave. About five hours earlier a road crew had found James Stolpa wandering along a road in the remote area. He said he had left his wife and son behind in the snow cave on Saturday to look for help. Mr Stolpa, 21, had walked for 22 hours and was suffering from hypothermia and frostbite. Searchers then found the couple's abandoned truck and followed footprints through the snow to the cave.
