Bangladesh will donate dollars 100,000 ( pounds 66,000) to victims of floods sweeping the American Midwest, Reuter reports from Dhaka.

The token cash contribution is being made in addition to Dhaka's commitment last month to send jute bags and tea - the country's two main exports - to help Americans hit by the Mississippi floods.
