John Bobbitt, the man whose penis was severed by his wife last year, was arrested after a woman described as his fiancee complained to police that Mr Bobbitt had assaulted her, AP reports from Las Vegas. Police said they would hold Mr Bobbitt at least 10 hours on the 'complaint of domestic violence - battery'. He has not been formally charged.
