A bomb exploded outside a police station in central Cairo yesterday, killing a 10-year-old girl and a man and injuring at least 11 other people, Reuter reports from Cairo.
A doctor at one nearby hospital said he had nine cases, of whom five were critically injured. The explosion fits a pattern of violence by Muslim militants fighting to turn Egypt into a purist Islamic state.
