The Chief Minister of Gibraltar, Joe Bossano, was reprimanded at the Foreign Office yesterday for dragging his feet over implementing EU directives on combating money laundering, writes Charles Richards. The Foreign Secretary, Douglas Hurd, told him that Gibraltar should ratify as soon as possible the 1988 drugs convention and regulations on financial accountability aimed at controlling the recycling of dirty money.
