Boston parade cancelled after 'gay' vote

Authorities in Boston cancelled the annual St Patrick's Day parade after the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court upheld the right of gay activists to march in the parade, Reuter reports from Boston. The Allied War Veterans Council of South Boston, which has sponsored the parade since 1947, said it would no longer provide funds.
