MOSCOW (Reuter) - A 10-year-old boy in the former Soviet republic of Moldova shot a younger child dead for refusing to play with him, a Russian news agency said yesterday.

Nega news agency said Ruslan Cherbu killed Alexandru Tsurkanu, 6, in the Moldovan village of Kukuruzen for 'refusing to go to the lake with him'.
