Police appealed for calm yesterday after vigilantes seeking the serial killer of up to 20 young boys on Sunday beat and burnt wasteland and harassed unaccompanied men in the Mitchell's Plain area, Reuter reports from Cape Town. Police said armed mobs combed open land near the spot where police last week found the bodies of 11 young boys in shallow graves.
