AMRITSAR (AP) - An Indian protesting against communal violence and corrupt politics hijacked an Indian Airlines jet yesterday, but later surrendered and freed all 205 people on board. Hari Singh commandeered the New Delhi to Madras flight shortly after take-off and ordered it to fly to Pakistan. Pakistan denied it permission to land, and the plane proceeded to Amritsar.
