Tokyo - Kim Yong Ju, younger brother of the North Korean President, Kim Il Sung, was elected vice-president yesterday. The appointment came two days after the Supreme People's Assembly announced his reinstatement to the Politburo of the Korean Workers' (Communist) Party. After an absence of 18 years, Kim Yong Ju's name resurfaced in Pyongyang's official media in July. AP
