Burundi fighting eases
Fighting between Tutsi-dominated troops and Burundi's Hutu tribal majority was reduced to sporadic shooting in the capital yesterday after six days of bloodletting estimated to have killed hundreds of people, Reuter reports from Bujumbura. In Geneva, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees said the fighting over the last week had driven 15,000 refugees into Zaire.
