NEW YORK (AP) - President Bush has pulled to within 7 percentage points of Bill Clinton, according to a nationwide survey released yesterday. The Time Magazine / CNN survey of 1,292 registered voters found Mr Clinton with 38 per cent, Mr Bush with 31 per cent and Ross Perot with 17 per cent. The same pollsters a month ago found Mr Clinton with a 19-point lead.
