A United Nations-sponsored mission rejected Unita charges that Angolan government forces tried to kill the movement's leader, Jonas Savimbi, in an air raid, Reuter reports from Paris. Unita rebels last week broke off peace talks with Luanda, accusing it of trying to assassinate Mr Savimbi in a raid near the city of Cuito.
