An Angolan air force plane killed 89 schoolchildren by 'mistake' in a bombing raid against Unita guerrillas in Waku-Kongo, in the central Cuanza-Sul province, AFP reports. The chief of general staff, General Joao de Matos, said the armed forces 'deeply regretted the incident', which occurred in thick fog on Tuesday.
