Children killed
Israeli soldiers shot dead 38 Palestinian children in the last six months, more than twice as many as during the whole of 1992, a leading human rights group said, AFP reports from Jerusalem.
Yuval Ginbar of the Israeli Information Centre for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories said: 'The army knowingly instructs soldiers to open fire even if they are not facing mortal danger or in a position of legitimate self- defence.'
