China doubled or tripled the sentences of 14 Tibetan nuns because they sang a 'counter-revolutionary' song in their cells, Reuter reports from Peking. Prison authorities confirmed they had their sentences increased for singing the pro-independence song on a tape which was then secretly circulated in Tibet.
