Clash over tuna fishing

French and Spanish fishermen catching tuna in the Atlantic clashed near the Azores at the weekend before naval vessels from their countries intervened, AP reports from Paris.

Crewmen on board 10 Spanish boats, which use lines, damaged the nets of French trawlers. A French naval tug and a Spanish patrol boat separated the groups and no injuries were reported.
