Pensacola - Paul Hill, 40, a former Presbyterian minister accused of shooting and killing a Florida abortion clinic doctor and an escort for patients, was the first person convicted under a new federal law making it a crime to block access to an abortion clinic. He was found guilty of three counts of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinics law and one of using a firearm in a violent crime. He is to go on trial in early next year on charges of murdering Dr John Britton and James Barrett outside The Ladies Centre in Pensacola. Reuter
