Compensation for Nato bombing

THE UNITED States and China yesterday reached agreement on a $28m (pounds 17.5m) compensation deal for Nato's bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. After talks, the State Department said the sum would be paid subject to approval by Congress.
