The five-yuan Chinese stamp from the series issued to commemorate the Olympics has caused a controversy over the numbers worn by the runners: stamp collectors claim the 64, 9 and (1 + 7) 8 refers to 4 June 1989, the date of the Tiananmen Square massacre.
