A United States state appeals court blocked the execution of a prisoner who insisted he did not commit a murder in 1981, AP reports from Huntsville, Texas.
Gary Graham, 29, was to have been executed early this morning. He had been convicted of killing a man in a hold-up outside a Houston supermarket when he was 17.
