Joe DeRita, last of the 'Three Stooges' who played the bald-headed Curly in the nose-tweaking, eye-gouging comedy team, has died at the age of 83, Reuter reports from Woodland Hills, California. DeRita died on Saturday at the Motion Picture and Television Fund retirement home in a Los Angeles suburb.
