KUWAIT CITY - A circus lion which killed its tamer during a show in Kuwait fell into a 'deep depression' and starved itself to death, the daily al-Qabas reported. The lion, Shiraz, killed its Romanian tamer, 52-year-old Elena Tipa, when it locked its jaws round the woman's neck during a performance. Later the lion 'became deeply depressed and committed suicide' by refusing food. AFP
