An unrepentant five-time killer who begged the Florida Governor, Lawton Chiles, to sign his death warrant was executed in the electric chair at daybreak yesterday, AP reports from Starke, Florida.

Michael Durocher went to his death after the US Supreme Court rejected two appeals filed over his objections.
