Albania's ruling Democratic Party has pushed the opposition Socialists out of power at the local government level.
The governing party's candidates won 37 out of 64 mayoral seats contested in last Sunday's municipal elections, while the Socialists won only four. The Democrats also won a majority of seats in 193 of 309 local councils. Tirana - AP
