MOSCOW (AFP) - Russian deputies began, then suspended for five days, a poorly attended emergency session of parliament yesterday amid rising tensions between MPs and the government. Deputies ratified a decree by President Boris Yeltsin prolonging a state of emergency in North Ossetia and Ingushetia.
