The doomed Shoemaker-Levy comet, which is expected to collide with Jupiter on 19 July, has broken up into 20 tadpole- like fragments, Hubble Space Telescope images reveal, Reuter reports from Washington.
Each mini-comet is at least 1.25 miles in diameter, about the same size as the meteorite that some believe killed dinosaurs on Earth. 'If you're a dinosaur on Jupiter, it's time to get out,' a Nasa scientist said.
