A dissident said he was back home after more than six weeks in detention that followed his public support for a 'peace charter' promoting non-violent political reform in China, AP reports from Peking. Yang Zhou insisted his detention was illegal. He said he did not regret his support for the charter and vowed to continue pro-democracy work.
